It's finally, FINALLY, spring here in northern Indiana, and for some reason, as soon as the weather turns, it makes me want to wear ALLTHECOLORS. I love a good pop of color, so this month, I'm on the hunt for a great spring purse.
So OF COURSE I had to order a Stitch Fix to see what Serena could find for me!
If you don't know about Stitch Fix (<--Referral link!), let me give you a little rundown. Stitch Fix is a clothing subscription service, and you decide how frequently, or infrequently, you'd like a shipment. You'll fill out a detailed style profile about your sizes, style preferences, and budget (and it's super fun to fill out the profile to see what your style preferences are!). Not only does Stitch Fix offer clothing, but they have accessories, bags, and even shoes now! They style both men and women, and they offer extended sizes. You pay a $20 styling fee that gets applied to your purchase, but right now, if you sign up for your first /fix through my link, your first styling fee is waived. Zero risk! And, if someone signs up through your referral link, you get a $25 credit to use toward your next purchase! (And let me tell you, that adds up to some awesome free close!) The BEST part of Stitch Fix? It comes directly to my door which means I can try it on in the comfort of my own home, pair it with things already in my wardrobe, and not have to take my brood into a dressing room with me. So much winning!

This month, Serena pulled some SERIOUS winners... and it makes me wonder if I should keep the whole Fix! So I DEFINITELY need you to weigh in, y'all!
1. Sole Society Nera Crossbody Bag, $59
My first thought when I saw this purse was "There's no way my life will fit into this." But, the more I thought about it, my life probably SHOULD fit into this! I still carry a diaper bag, so it's easy enough to start stashing our snacks in there. And I do LOVE that it's crossbody and easy enough to throw on while still having hands free. I LOVE the coral color, so I'm totally torn on this. Can I be a small bag kind of gal?
2. Market & Spruce Ezide Textured Print Top, $58
This top, y'all. On the hanger, it just looks like a normal top. BUT, when you put it on, ohmigosh! It has just the right amount of stretch, and hugs all the right places. I love the little bit of texturing on it, and it looks effortless to throw on with jeans and some cute accessories.
3. 41 Hawthorn Dawney Scallop Trim Blouse, $54
Either Serena knows me well (she does!), or she's noticed a huge trend on my Pinterest fashion board. I LOVE a good subtle scallop detail! I think it's so sweet and makes an ordinary hemline far more fun. The pattern on this top is so cute too - a little floral goes a long way, and this is definitely a pattern I can get behind.
4. Emory Park Kaley Open Kimono, $34
5. Liverpool Elizabeth Super Skinny Jeans, $78
This is a trend I've been seeing everywhere lately, and I ALMOST purchased something similar about a month ago because I love this style for easy access for nursing! This one, though - AMAZING! The colors are so, so pretty, and I love the pattern of it too! I feel like this is an absolute winner, especially since it's something I've had my eye on lately! (Ironically, this was the piece that my husband said he wasn't crazy about! Ha!)
And, let's talk jeans. It's like, impossible, to find great jeans. Post-baby, I was really hoping to get back into my pre-Harrison jeans, but with eight pounds to go, I finally had to cave and buy new jeans. And I REALLY liked them. So then I got a second pair of jeans. And now, THESE. You guys, these fit like a GLOVE. They're so, so soft, and the wash on them is perfect! Bonus - no button or zipper - they're a pull on waistband (seriously, WHY is this just now becoming a thing?! This should have been around decades ago!)! And I'm actually wearing them in all the photos. But they're $78. So do I bite the bullet and buy them?! To be completely honest with myself, most of my pre-baby jeans are probably slightly worn or outdated (oh hi, bootcuts). Do I make that a determining factor here?
So that's it for Fix #29! What DO I do?!

Stitch Fix #29: Pops of color and the PERFECT jeans!
Saturday, October 8, 2016
There are so many things that get me excited for this season. Windy days. Leaves falling. Sweaters. Salted Caramel Mochas. And right up at the top of the things that make me love this season is Stitch Fix.
I love Stitch Fix because it comes directly to me! This is perfect for seeing if the pieces you receive will work with the pieces you already have. Your Fix also arrives with detailed styling cards to give you ideas of how to wear each item. Each Fix costs $20, but the fee is credited toward anything you decide to keep. When you've decided what you don't want, you simply check out online and mail the items back in the prepaid mailing envelope. If you keep everything, you score a 25% discount! I love that I can work with my current wardrobe to see what will work best with what I already have.

Not only does Stitch Fix offer clothing, but they have accessories, bags, and even shoes now! Their maternity Fixes were amazing while I was pregnant, and I've been getting Fixes on the regular just because it's so much easier than toting our sweet 18-month-old to the store with me to try things on!

This Fix was once again styled by Serena. I feel like Serena and I could totally be besties. The kind that drink like 8 cups of coffee together while watching Gilmore Girls in our comfy and fashionable Stitch Fix clothes. But, I digress.
This Fix, I asked for some transition pieces to Fall. I also asked for something I might be able to wear in some family photos we're doing soon. And Serena always comes through. But this time, I REALLY need your help deciding! What do I keep, my friends?!
1. Skies are Blue Abela Open Cardigan, $48
2. Rune Porter Leggings, $44
I love the color and style of the sweater - so much so that this absolutely reminds me of a LOT of other sweaters in my closet! It's a thicker knit, so it's perfect for cool days, but I love that it has 3/4 sleeves! The leggings are great - high quality and fit well... BUT, I'm kind of legging-ed out right now. I have four awesome pairs of basic black leggings, plus a gorgeous burgundy shade. AND, I've acquired quite a few LuLaRoe patterns now, so I'm just not sure I need any more leggings in my life!
3. Market and Spruce Dolly Tie Back Neck Knit Top, $54
This is quite possibly the softest shirt I've ever put on. Ohmigosh, it's so incredibly soft. LOVE that it again has 3/4 length sleeves so that my Keepers still show, and LOVE the bow detail on the back, but I'm worried that it's a little boxy and might make me look a little wider than I am. In fact, my fab photog was sitting on the floor playing with our son when he first took this photo. As soon as he looked at it, he popped right up, told me I wouldn't like that angle, and took it again. I looked WAY wider from below!
4. Pixley Millie Textured Knit Dress, $68
Serena sent this dress with the recommendation of wearing it in our family pictures. I love the v-back, and I'm all about polka dots. But what do we think of the neckline? I just can't decide if I love it enough, especially since I REALLY loved the dress I got in my last Fix! What's a girl to do?! Ask her friends for help, of course!
5. Madra Shiloh Leaf Print Infinity Scarf, $38
Oh hi, this scarf is cream and has mustard colored leaves. It's GORGEOUS, and I'm really excited to rock some scarfs this season! I skipped them a lot last year because I was still nursing, and they mostly got in the way/became a way for my little man to yank on my neck even more. I kind of love this.
So I absolutely need your help this time around, friends! Weigh in! What am I keeping? What's going back?
Oh, and, keep an eye out for a SECOND Stitch Fix blog post this week... but this time, it's a different model! Stitch Fix has men's now, and my handsome hubby LOVED his first Fix (he kept every single piece!)! He'll be showing it off this week right here!

Fall is coming, fall is coming! Today was mild and gorgeous here in Northern Indiana - a perfect reminder that fall is definitely coming, friends, and it's time to update my wardrobe (and SERIOUSLY get rid of things that I don't wear anymore (Hello, clothes from high school. I wish I could tell you I'm kidding!).). So let's just get right to it!

This Fix was once again styled by my main girl, Serena. Serena, I'm sending you like, a million virtual hugs for sending me this Fix! JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

This time around, I'd asked for some transition in to fall pieces. I didn't ask for any specific colors, but as ALWAYS, Serena knows me and sent navy, mustard, and burgundy. She just... knows what I'm going to love!
1. Market & Spruce Auria Embroidered Dress, $74
Full disclosure. When I saw this dress come up in my app, long before it arrived at my doorstep, I didn't think I liked the pattern. And even when I took it out of the box, I thought, I still don't know if I like this pattern. But then I put it on, and ohmigosh, it's adorable! It's adorable now for the warm end of summer! It's adorable later with a sweater, leggings, and boots for the chillier days of fall! It's just, kind of adorable! And the little embroidered detail on the bottom?! Love!
2. Le Lis Lavania Lace Knit Top, $48
I'm honestly shocked this shirt isn't more expensive because it's so well made! And it's lace! And it's navy! And I just... feel like I need it. Do I need it?! It's adorable for fall, and I feel like it could even transition into other seasons with the right jacket and pants!
3. Pixley Martina Slub Knit Open Cardigan, $48
BURGUNDY! All the things this fall should be burgundy... like my new favorite Keeper! This is totally my style - open, flowy, warm, and looks great paired with jeans or over a fabulous new dress (see above!)! I love that the fabric drapes well, and I really like the added scoop detail around the front of the cardi! Oh, hi, and it can almost be pockets!
4. Eden Society Armen Lace Detail Blouse, $54
Hellllo, mustard! I actually have a really similar tank that I got from Banana Republic Outlet a few summers ago, but it's probably time for an update anyway. And the lace! I just love that it works now as a tank with my white shorts, skirt, and jeans and will work later as a fall piece with the right sweater and boots!
5. Fun2Fun Pineda Split Neck Top, $37
I was really excited about this piece for a few reasons:
1. The price
2. The flannel pattern
3. The long sleeves!
It's lightweight enough that I can easily put a sweater with it but heavy enough that I can put a tank under it and wear it around on breezy days. It's long (love) so while I would probably mostly wear this with jeans and boots, I feel like I could wear it with leggings too (maybe. If I get brave!)!
So what do I do, friends? What pieces would you DEFINITELY keep? What would go back? Help a girl out!

I can't believe this Fix was the 12th box I've been sent from Stitch Fix! And I really can't believe that I still get just as excited every time I get the email about a new box being shipped, but I do!
If you haven't heard of Stitch Fix (<-- Referral link!), let me give you a quick run down. Stitch Fix is a subscription clothing service, and you can decide how frequently (or infrequently!) you'd like a shipment. You'll fill out a detailed style profile about your sizes, style preferences, and budget, and then you'll choose whichever day you'd like to receive your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you five clothing and/or accessory items to try on in the comfort of your own home, and this is perfect for seeing if the pieces you receive will work with pieces you already have! Your Fix also arrives with detailed styling cards to give you ideas of how to wear each item. Each Fix "costs" $20, but that fee is credited toward anything you decide to keep. When you've decided what you don't want, you simply check out online and mail the items back in the prepaid mailing envelope. If you keep everything, you score a 25% discount! Woot! And I REALLY love that I can work with my current wardrobe at the same time (ever been in a dressing room and wondered if the blue top you're trying on would be the same blue as that patterned skirt at home? Now you'll know!).
AND, if someone signs up through your referral link, you get a $25 credit to use toward your next purchase! I love this service because it allows me to try items I would never normally pick for myself.
You can see my previous Fixes here:
1. Liverpool Shania Stitched Detail Jean, $58 and
2. Lenor Button-Down Pintuck Detail Tank, $48
I was super excited to get a pair of jeans in my pre-baby size that fit! Granted, they're the stretchiest jeans I've ever tried on, but they fit! The jeans have this fun stitched detail along the waistband and down each leg, almost like a tuxedo stripe. I think I like it, but I'm not 100%. The top is super cute, and although the picture of me wearing it doesn't show it, the stop is more of an orange than a peach. I like that it has buttons (nursing friendly!), and it's super comfortable and lightweight for the warmer weather on the way.
3. Market & Spruce Lace Overlay Raglan Top, $58
This shirt is me to a t. I love the mixed fabrics and the lace overlay on the front of the shirt is gorrrrgeous! I love the way it fits, and I love that it's casual for my more casual lifestyle now! It might be a little warm for summer, but it would be great for fall and spring!
4. THML Deanna Dot Print Embroidered Top, $54
This top is cute, and I was excited to have something a little more boho, but I hate the longer side panels and shorter front and back! I feel like it draws way too much attention to my hip area, and that's the area I'm most wanting to mask right now!
5. Gilli Vail Striped Maxi Skirt, $58
Who doesn't love a good maxi skirt! The material of this is super comfortable, and it would pair well with anything black, white, or mint, but I'm not sure I'm crazy about the stripes.
I need your help, readers! What would you definitely get if you were me? Definitely toss? I have until Monday to decide, so my closet's destiny is in your hands! Help a girl out!

This was my 12th Fix, and it's easily one of my favorite Fixes so far! For me, the key to getting great Fixes is keeping an updated Pinterest fashion board and working with a fantastic stylist who gets me (Tan has been an amazing stylist if you're looking for a recommendation!)!
