I feel like it's been forever since I've gotten a Stitch Fix shipment, but really, it's only been about two months. Must mean it was time!
If you haven't heard of Stitch Fix yet, let me tell you a little about it! Basically, Stitch Fix is a subscription service. You fill it out a detailed style profile about your sizes, style preferences, and budget. After that, they'll send you five clothing or accessory pieces for you to try on in the comfort of your own home. This is awesome, because you can pair it with your own clothing and accessories to see what might work well in your closet! Each Fix costs $20, but that fee is credited toward anything you decide to keep. When you've decided what you don't want, you drop it in the prepaid mailing envelope, stick it in any mailbox, and send it back to the company. You only get charged for what you keep, and you can get Fixes as often or as infrequently as you'd like. Shipping is free both ways.
AND, if someone signs up through your referral link, you get a $25 credit to use toward your next purchase! Not a bad deal, huh?
I love using this service because it gets me outside my comfort zone and allows me to try things I normally wouldn't! You can check out my other Stitch Fix reviews here:

And that brings us to today's Fix. I didn't give any sort of specifications to my stylist, Tan, but I'd been adding lots of pieces I loved to my Pinterest Fashion board (there's a link in your Stitch Fix profile so that they can see what you like!)! Tan did a great job pulling picks for me this Fix!
1. Pomelo Moni Stud Detailed 3/4 Sleeve Blouse, $58
2. Kut from the Kloth Lonnie Distressed Cuffed Boyfriend Shorts, $68
I LOVE this studded detail top, and had actually pinned a few of them (it comes in various colors and patterns). The fit is perfect, and I love that I can dress it up or down for work or a night out. This top was a definite KEEP for me! The shorts... oh, the shorts. These shorts fit me like a glove! Seriously, perfect fit, and that never happens with jean shorts! But, they were a little too distressed for me, and the price point was a little bit high, so they were returned, but begrudgingly.
3. Skies are Blue Lizellen Cut Out Detail & Scallop Hem Top, $48
I'd been pinning tons of scallop detail items on my Pinterest board lately, and was so excited when I saw one was coming my way. Unfortunately, this just didn't quite cut it. :/ The top was too big and too boxy. I could have maybe forgiven the boxiness if it had fit a little closer to the body, but it just made me feel super square. Back to Stitch Fix it went!
4. Sanctuary Alcina Abstract Printed Spaghetti Strap Maxi Dress, $74
This was actually the husband's favorite item in the whole box. The maxi was beautiful, plenty long, and had a fun pattern I haven't really seen elsewhere. I like the spaghetti strap details, and if I had somewhere to wear this dress right now, I'd be all over it! But for $74, I don't want it just to sit in the closet. So, it sadly went back too.
5. 41Hawthorn Clementine Lace Detail Chiffon Dress, $78
The jewel-toned color of this dress made me love it instantly, but, the lace at the top wouldn't sit right, and it seemed just slightly large all over. I wasn't sure this was something I would get enough use out of. So, it went back too!
So, in the end, I kept one great top that will be perfect for the upcoming school year! I scheduled another Fix for September and asked for some specific things: jewel toned pieces and things I can wear to work. Very excited to see what Tan can do with my specifications this time around!
Think you're ready to give Stitch Fix a try? I would love it if you used my referral link! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
