It's Wednesday, and snow/cold day number three here in northern Indiana. I can safely say I am ready to go back to work. I have made the best of my extra (unexpected) time off, but now, I want to see my kids, I want to have a routine, and I REALLY want to get the January issue of the newspaper to bed (it was supposed to come out Friday -- I assure you it will not)!
This time HAS allowed me to get a lot of wedding planning done, though. Dan, being that he's the best fiance in the world, has officially booked our honeymoon (EEEEEEEEK!) and is working hard at finding us the perfect musicians for our wedding. I've been working mostly on invitations, table decorations, favors, outfit details, and the all important wedding paperwork for church. It's been nice having some time to work on it where I didn't feel too rushed!
People have been asking me for months what the theme of our wedding is. I've had a really hard time answering this question. Elegant and romantic? Mint green and lavender? Open bar? I just never know how to answer that question. But, while we've been off on the winter break that doesn't end, we've come up with an idea we really love to connect a lot of our ideas to. Details to come!
Since we're looking at going back to work tomorrow, I suppose I should prepare myself. Have a great rest of the week, all!
