I had so much fun and learned so, so much at the Reynolds Institute. But it's also really nice to be home. :)
Dan and I spent the weekend with his family -- they were visiting from Atlanta, Reading, and New York! It was so much fun meeting new family, and traveling all around southwest Michigan with them. I felt bad that I was still largely sleep deprived and out of it, but hopefully I'll be more awake the next time I see them!
The past few days have been a whirlwind of Jazzercise classes and routine-learning, laundering two weeks worth of clothes from the trip, organizing the house, and getting back into wedding planning mode. Holy cow, being gone for two weeks can be rough.
Tomorrow is August. Say what?! Where did July go?
Today was the first day of summer that I couldn't remember what day of the week it was. Therefore, I know it's time to get back in to school mode. I'm working on preparing my newspaper staff manual, updating syllabi, and figuring out what I want to start with in Junior Honors. Or, I should say, I have plans to work on all of these things. Soon. Tomorrow. Or maybe Friday.
It's so good to be home.
