Chica, I think your shoes might be too small. In Mizuno, I usually went up a half size from my regular shoe size. Or, you could try fiddling with the way your shoes are laced to make sure your heel stays back. Those toes are black from bumping into the end of your shoe!!!
I went up a full size! Perhaps on a lucky note, the shoe I was using is no longer in their line up, so I'll have to switch out with my next pair. I tried to pop one of the blisters last night and ended up almost passing out when I saw the blood. Fail.
Yeah, bigger shoes size was my suggestion too! Wow Angela mutiple runner tooties! There are suggestions online to how you can lace your shoes differently to pull the areas to your toes away. Have you tried to get inserts custom to your feet? I did & got shoes half size bigger after my first & hopefully last runner's toe. My left 3rd toenail still is growing back.
I think I'll have to go in to visit with the nice folks at my running shoe story. I ran 7.5 on Saturday and my toes aren't hitting the front of my shoe, nor are they sliding. This sounds crazy, but I think it's actually in the way I grip my shoe (sort of with my toes -- sounds weird, I know!). We'll see what they recommend!
Welcome to Run Baby Run where I blog about running my world. It's a journey in living, laughing, and loving, with some fitness and style thrown in for fun. Thanks for joining me on the journey!
And the question would be why?
